The First People build a totem in Eagle's likeness for bringing them supplies of fish. Raven becomes jealous and tries to help the people in other ways but only makes a mess of things. Frog advises Raven to just be himself, the trickster, instead of trying to be something he is not. Raven heeds Frog's advice, but takes it a little too far, playing a trick on the town and his friend Eagle that ends in disaster. Raven inadvertently teaches the Village that it is better to share all their goods, but almost kills himself in the process!
